Designed in collaboration with the Ashmolean Museum, Oxford, this beautiful block printing kit is inspired by the designs of May Morris (1862-1938), a leading figure in the Arts & Crafts Movement.
Unleash your creative side and immerse yourself in the joys of Indian block printing with everything you need to create a beautiful set of hand-printed notelets. A wonderful creative gift or a treat for yourself.
May Morris described design as 'the very essence and soul of beautiful embroidery', and the Ashmolean Museum holds one of the largest repositories of her designs. We felt Morris' traditional botanicals and gentle palette would translate beautifully into the medium of wooden printing blocks. The block designs are intentionally separated, to allow freedom in creating different relationships between foliage and flower.
